2025 Editor's Rating
When you need an easy-to-use tool to save your Microsoft SQL Server database development work look no further than Black Falcon Software's "SQL Server Source Control for Developers".

"SQL Server Source Control for Developers" is very affordable for the individual, professional's budget and requires absolutely no attachment to current database management tools. The product is completely self-contained allowing you to save versioned, database scripts in localized repositories.

This version control software is a great addition to any developer's toolbox where database version control is not available. So never lose your work again due to a sudden database refresh or someone else changing your scripts.

All scripts are stored in a local SQL Server CE database\repository of which as many such repositories can be created as required. Each repository can be as large as 4gigs. Since all database\repositories are local to this product, no attachments are required against any database managers.

This product currently requires .NET Framework 4.5 or greater to be installed.

The following SQL Server database objects can be stored as scripts with this tool...

Tables\Indices
Views
Stored Procedures
Triggers
User Defined Functions
User Defined Data Types
User Defined Tables
Sequences
Synonyms
Aggregates
Xml Schema Collections
Queues
